- Complete gut renovation of one of Harvard University’s iconic “Gold Coast” dormitories
- Originally built in 1892, the building was renovated on a fast-track 13-month schedule
- Work on the exterior of the building, which is part of the Harvard Houses National Register Historic District and the Harvard Square Conservation District, included roof replacement, chimney repair, masonry restoration and restoration to ornamental details and windows
- On the interior, work included strengthening the structure with new footings, structural steel and wood frame and an addition was added to create study nooks on every floor and increase circulation
- Work also consisted of restoration of the entrance hall and main stair, installation of two new elevators, dorm rooms, tutor suites, common areas and new MEP systems
